A few years back, I decided I wanted to start making mosaics. I bought all the supplies I needed and I’ve collected about 10 books, but I still have yet to make one piece. It’s interesting though, how looking at other people’s artwork gives me another sort of satisfaction. I love to do my own, but to appreciate something that someone else has put their time and effort into, makes you realize where your joy comes from in creativity. I was doing a google image search for work, put in “comfy couch” and this photo came up. This awesome outdoor couch looks like fabric. I even thought to myself, I wonder what they do when it rains? But its actually a mosaic. I’d love to someday venture into the mosaic world. Also, stained glass.
