I normally wouldn’t have cared much about this, but I’ve recently been introduced into the world of LOST. In 2003, I took a trip up to Canada to visit a friend at the college I went to my first year out of high school, Trinity Western University. When I was there, we went to watch our friend, Nathan, play a game of hockey at a local rink. While at the game, Jane introduced me to a girl named Evangeline. She was married to a guy who also played on the team, Murray, and was there supporting them as well. I can remember Jane telling me the girl wanted to get into acting, and was going to an audition for a TV show. I just remember her being really nice and pretty and figuring she’d make it. Anywho, a while later I got a call from Jane saying Evangeline Lilly was going to be starring in a new show called Lost. Then of course a bit later, Jane told me Evangeline had started dating Dominic Monaghan, and was divorcing her husband. Oh, the wonderful world of Hollywood: where even cute relationships started in good old Canada don’t last. I didn’t get into the show at all the last 4 yrs, but recently I was encouraged to start from season 1. HOLY CRAP. Best show ever.
