I’m in a Digital Photography class right now and we had a project to do based on the work of David Hockney. We were asked to shoot a ton of photos of one scene and use Photoshop to collage them together. This was a fun project.

It is finished! I’ve officially published my online portfolio for Photography, Web Design, and Graphic Design: www.shalinasue.com. Feel free to check it out and spread the word!
Thanks, friends.
Here’s my debut short film. For the final project in my Digital Video class I made a music video to the song
Things I Don’t Remember by Ugly Casanova. I’m very new to this but it’s proving to be the latest addition
to my “I <3 hobbies” list.
* Thank you to Yvette, Jeffrey, and Stephen for all your help. *
I’m uncomfortable in life. I’m sure at some point, I’ll see that it was a time of growth. I could hit my head on the ceiling in excitement for one break I’m making and pull my hair out with sadness for another. But new beginnings are all over the place.
I’m putting together an online portfolio to hopefully begin freelancing some of my hobbies. These include, and are not at all limited to: Photography, Web Design, Print Design, and Photo Restoration. I can only imagine the fulfillment I could get from doing with I love to make a living. We’ll see where that takes me. I have a photo shoot today with one of my best friends, Christle, and her fiance, Joe. Engagement photos. Check back soon to see a few of them.

A few years back, I decided I wanted to start making mosaics. I bought all the supplies I needed and I’ve collected about 10 books, but I still have yet to make one piece. It’s interesting though, how looking at other people’s artwork gives me another sort of satisfaction. I love to do my own, but to appreciate something that someone has put their time and effort into, makes you realize where your joy comes from in creativity. Once again, I was doing a google image search for work. I put in “comfy couch” and this photo came up. This awesome outdoor couch looks like fabric. I even thought to myself, I wonder what they do when it rains? But its actually a mosaic. I’d love to someday venture into the mosaic world, along with stained glass.
