Ali in the City | San Francisco Fashion Photographer

Last weekend, I had this desire to buy a bunch of balloons and go shoot some photos in the city. So I did! I grabbed a few of my talented friends to collaborate on this project. Ali’s the beautiful girl in the photos. Makeup by Shaya Goldhaber. Hair and assistance by Shannon Reinhardt. Photos by Shalina (ME!). We also had a second shooter, Brian, that came along. I look forward to seeing his pics as well, as it’s always nice to see a second perspective. I had a really fun day. Thanks to all of you that helped!

Trappist | Bay Area Photographer

I took some pics for a cool bar in Oakland last week called The Trappist. This was my favorite pic.

Lonestar Family | Bay Area Family Photographer

Photographing this family makes me really happy. I grew up with Cassandra. We did everything together. We built forts, made yarn dolls, recorded home videos. Name any childhood activity that requires creativity, and we probably did it. We even had (have…shhh) our own secret handwriting. To see her in a completely different stage of her life with an awesome husband and three beautiful kids is so amazing.

Just mom:

Baby Olivia | Bay Area Photographer

I’ve had the privilege of photographing this sweet girl since she was in her momma’s belly. Then, again when she was only 3 months old. Now she’s 8 months and cuter than ever. Look at those CHEEKS!!

Taco Bell Beach

A few weeks back, Katie and I hopped in the car and drove out highway 1 to go to the Taco Bell beach in Pacifica. Sometimes I forget how close we live to these kinds of outings. It was so relaxing and the weather was perfectly overcast, but not freezing. This needs to happen more often.

She decided to make me a birthday cake and sing to me (my birthday is in January).

Mmmmm. Cake.

The colors in this next picture make me want to go bead shopping. This was after we got home from the beach, down at the park.
