Senior Session: Genie

This is Genie. She’s a Senior in High School (What?! She looks way older.) We went out yesterday to shoot some Senior photos. She’s an amazing piano player, so we started out indoors. Then we drove to the town of Clayton and shot amongst the beautiful, natural, green backdrops. I think one of my favorite things to do is to accidentally run into old abandoned buildings. It really excites me beyond words. This happened yesterday, as you can see.

Pretty in Pink

This is Olivia, my sister-in-law’s-sister’s baby. I shot Sarah’s maternity pics back in the day (Coming Soon: Olivia) and have been looking forward to this shoot ever since! She’s 3 months old now and absolutely adorable. She was so sweet in all of her pink.

Secretly, I’m hoping these pics will spark the baby making trend in my family.

Shan… Tiana… please?

Thanks.

DVC Students

A couple weeks ago I had the privilege of shooting photos for some DVC students. They’ll be using them in their campaign to run for the student body council. They were a fun group. I hope they do well in their campaign.

Blog Planet

I think I may have fallen off the face of Blog Planet. I’ll be back, I swear it. Two new shoots (hopefully) coming up this weekend!

Stay tuned.

Back in the Day

I came across these pictures the other day and I had to share them. My cute little Katie when she was only 2 yrs old!
I just want to squeeze her little chipmunk face.

This was her first time trick-or-treating and a trip to Pescadero.

She got into my makeup! It was so hard to be mad about it. And yes, that is a costume I was wearing.

Playing with Uncle Stevie in Mexico.

Feeding Uncle Stevie some ice cream.

I asked her the other night why she hasn’t stopped growing (I’ve been asking her to stop for a while now)
and she said “Mom, it’s just the nature thing!” and rolled over to go to sleep.

Good point, Katie.
