At Least She’s Aware

Katie’s been sick the last couple days and we’ve been spending a lot of time at home. She’s sitting on the couch playing with her legos and this is what she said:

Mom? Do you wish you were a five year old – but not sick – and you were doing artsy stuff?

Haha. What a funny thing to say. She totally knows that she’s lucky to be a kid with no responsibilities.

Turnouts

Katie’s dad is a firefighter. The other day, when I was dropping her off, we stole his turnouts and took over his backyard for a few minutes. LOOK HOW CUTE SHE IS! Gahhhhh… I love her.

Like father, like daughter. (But mostly, she’s like mom.)

Kerri’s Belly

This is Kerri. There’s a little girl in her tummy (Kerri… hurry and name her, please!) I met up with her and her husband in Martinez this weekend to take some maternity pics.

If by chance you’re looking for a Wedding DJ, check out Kerri’s website: 1st Class DJs.

I couldn’t choose, so I’m posting a lot of them:

Seriously? HEALS while pregnant?! I don’t even wear heals when I’m not pregnant.

My Daughter is Totally Cute

I was driving away from Angie’s house and saw this awesome fence. I immediately pulled over and told Katie to get out and go play in the mud. AHH. It was messy, but totally worth it.

John Jazzarus

My brother is a guitarist in the band called In Reverent Fear. The drummer of his band is John Lazarus. Last Friday, John had me come shoot some live photos of a Jazz Trio that he’s a part of. They played at this cool little restaurant in San Jose. It was really fun! I got to take pics, enjoy the music and eat yummy food with friends.

This is John:
