Katie.
Today was my little teeny tiny baby’s first day of Kindergarten! WHAT?! That is insane. I still feel like a child. In the car on the way there she said, “My dad asked me if I’m nervous. Why would I be nervous?” This girl is amazing. No fears in life. She went through the gate, put her backpack down, and ran off to recess with her very-soon-to-be friends.
Soon, it will be high school. Holy Moses.
A lot of pics:

We told her to stop growing but she didn’t listen.

Etc and Music.
1. My sister and her husband moved to Nottingham, England this week. They’ll be living there for the next 3 years while Eric gets his PhD at the University of Nottingham. When I think about it, I feel like throwing up a little, but in a good-over-excited way. My sister is blogging their adventures here: www.tiana.tianaanderic.com. I can’t wait to go visit them.
2. Radiohead. Tomorrow is the start of a 3 day music festival in SF (Outside Lands) that I’ll be attending with a bunch of friends and fellow lovers of Radiohead. There will be a bunch of other great bands as well, check out the line up! It’s amazing.

Katie.
Katie keeps asking me how many days till she’s in Kindergarten. As of today, its 12. Last night my mom took her [us] school clothes shopping. Before we went out I told her to “hurry and get dressed cause gramma’s coming to take us shopping.”
This is the outfit she chose to wear:

Yes, that is a firefighter t-shirt and a straight-out-of-the-eighties Baby Guess skirt [one of my thrift store finds]. I’m kind of thinking I should have her pick out my outfits every day. This CUTE GIRL will have boys lined up the street.
In 12 days, you’ll be seeing a post about Katie’s first day of school. She’s ecstatic.
Sunday, I went shooting in Castro Valley. My co-worker’s husband is a local artist/rapper and he wanted some promo shots.

Here’s me shooting & Katie playing. Thank you – Kerri – for the photo.

My childhood best friend, Cassandra, came to visit this past weekend to celebrate her birthday. She is now married with 3 kids all age 3 and under! She and her husband, Matt, are amazing parents. Their children were so well behaved and adorable! We headed to Cowell park on Sunday to get some family photos. Katie loved having them around and even got to help “babysit” their youngest [6 weeks old] during the photo shoot.
