I left the car in the forest and climbed down a cliff, scraping up my shins and feet. At the bottom was a large, open riverbed surrounded by trees. There was happiness in the freedom and perfect company. I found a rock.
If I had known it was a wishing rock,
I would have used it in fear of losing something I love.

I should have thrown it. Instead,
I brought it home to remind me.
1. My Nikon D40x Digital SLR camera from my Momma. I’ve always wanted to get into photography, and now I can! Poor Katie is my subject most the time (I don’t think she minds), but I’ve actually done 2 photo shoots with my new camera already. The weekend after Christmas, my sister asked me to come take photos of her husband’s family. Then last week, I took my friend Angie’s 1st trimester pregnancy photos.
